The Montana Connection
&
The Sullivan Clan Of The U.S. Exhibit

 The 13th. Annual Boston Beara Society Social was held in the Florian Hall, Dorchester on Sunday, April 16th. This year, a discussion regarding Irish roots and History was presented to the audience, by a group from the University Of Montana, led by Gerald Fetz. Also speaking was Cork native, Terry O’Riordan who gave a very informative lecture on Irish life and times in and around the copper mines of Butte, Montana. Also on display, was the U.S. exhibit of the Sullivan Clan. This year also, a number of audience members came up on stage to sing songs and to tell jokes, they included the great Andy Healy, poet Timmy Crowley and a host of others, too numerous to mention. A lovely evening was had by all and credit for this goes out to the Boston Beara Commitee who always put on such a great show. Mary Sullivan Kelly did a wonderful job in introducing this year’s event.
